No offense, but I'm having a hard time to believe that Eritrea has the highest rate of economic growth in the world. I do believe there are improvements in the country of course. Yesterday on the Dutch news I heard that more than 1000 Eritreans per month are fleeing away from their country, coming to Europe. An Eritrean girl said that the situation in Eritrea is hopeless….If the economy is so booming, how come so many Eritreans are escaping? Can anyone enlight me on this matter? I don't understand.

Be aware sayings like "fastest growing". From what, you have to ask yourself. If I paid you $1 a year wages and at the end of the year increased it to £1,000 a year, I could tell the world I had paid out the biggest pay rise, in percentage terms, in the world. But could you live on $1,000 a year anymore than $!? Either way you are homeless, not able to feed yourself properly, etc.
Beware of percentages.
